Shoparino8 Tax Policies
1Responsibility for Taxes
As a seller on Shoparino8, you are solely responsible for identifying your tax obligations and for calculating, reporting, and remitting all taxes owed in accordance with applicable law. Your responsibilities remain even if you use any tax calculation tools offered by Shoparino8.
In certain cases, Shoparino8 may calculate, collect, and remit applicable sales, use, goods and services (GST), or value-added taxes (VAT) on orders shipped to specific locations, as permitted by law. For details about these locations, refer to Marketplace Withheld Taxes.
Shoparino8 may provide an optional Tax Calculation Service to assist Professional sellers in determining taxes and other transaction-related charges for orders shipped to jurisdictions not covered under Marketplace Withheld Taxes within your selected country. If you use this service, Shoparino8 will remit the calculated taxes to you along with your earnings, so you can then remit them to the relevant tax authorities. Sellers remain fully responsible for any ongoing reporting or remittance obligations, whether under Marketplace Withheld Taxes or the Tax Calculation Service.
Unless explicitly stated in the Shoparino8 Seller Agreement, Shoparino8 is not responsible for determining your tax obligations, calculating applicable taxes, or remitting taxes on your behalf. If a tax authority requires Shoparino8 to pay any taxes owed by you, you agree to reimburse Shoparino8 promptly for the amount paid.
2Taxes on Fees and Payments
All fees payable to Shoparino8 are exclusive of taxes. You are responsible for paying any taxes imposed on such fees. Payments you make to Shoparino8 must be made in full, without any deductions or withholdings, including any cross-border taxes required by law. If a deduction or withholding is legally required, you must pay additional amounts so that Shoparino8 receives the full payment due under this Agreement.
3Shipping Products Internationally
If you ship products from one country to another, you are considered the importer into the destination country and are responsible for paying all applicable import duties, taxes, and customs fees (“Customs Fees”). When shipping to a country outside your selected country, you are generally treated as the exporter, and the buyer is treated as the importer. You are responsible for any applicable export Customs Fees, while the buyer is responsible for any import Customs Fees related to their purchase. Any Customs Fees are separate from the sales proceeds collected by Shoparino8.
